The Answer is Love
It is Love that makes people happy
It is Love that fills happiness with joy
It is Love that birthed me, not my mother
A hundred blessings and praises to that mother
I often get asked by people: “What should I do?” and the answer I have learned from the wise always rings true. “Choose love”. Every. Single. Time.
“Choosing love” does not mean “sacrificing”, it does not mean doing “what’s right”, it does not even mean “abiding by laws”. Choosing love simply means taking the action that makes you feel most expansive, peaceful
and connected with everyone and everything. Choosing love is a clear voice within you that is free of doubt or hesitation.
It does not matter what you choose to “do”, what matters is how you do it. How do you feel about your action? The action might seem unlikely, odd or even quirky. It might not conform to standard ways of thinking. But you will know, deep in your heart that you are choosing love. You will know because you will be love.
“Making sacrifices” then feeling resentful are not acts of love. Sometimes releasing someone is an act of love. Start with yourself, love yourself so much that you have no choice but to overflow onto others. And the sweetest kind of love? Is love found in unlikeliest of places, it is captured unexpected, in the toughest of circumstances, within the most hopeless cases, from far-fetched sources.
On a last note, thank you all so much for your donations towards Green Shakti, an initiative that is a warm embrace lasting generations to come!
Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.
