Awakening the Warrior Retreat in Oman 6-9 Sep 2019
"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear" Nelson Mandela
Our life is often held back not by what we are incapable of doing but rather by the fears in our heads. Those fears can come from self limiting beliefs, fear or failure or even attachment. In this retreat we will take both an inward and outward journey of facing our fears and anxieties.
The outward journey will come from our ability to hike mountains, abseil down waterfalls, swim in spring water, and deep water swimming. The outward journey will come from our ability to look within ourselves and be honest about what scares us, what holds us back and the power we hold.
My intention is for you to come back feeling more confident, braver in making life changing decisions and not scared of living a life that reflects who you are.
Location We will be staying in a 4 star hotel in Muscat (Details TBA)

Your Retreat Teacher - Weam Zabar Certified Yoga Instructor (ERYT500- YACEP) and Reiki Level 4 Healer and the founder of Namaste. Weam's teaching style is fluid, creative and fun. Her Yoga journey started in 2007 and nothing remained the same. Seeing how Yoga nurtured her life she left behind a demanding corporate job to dedicate her to guiding others and sharing their journey home. Namaste since has helped hundreds of students taste the sweetness of the Yoga practice.
Her enthusiasm, curiosity, energy, compassion and passion are contagious. She believes that everyone has an "edge" and whilst she is a firm believer that this edge is very different for individuals, she enjoys watching people grow from taking themselves to places that both challenge and respect where we are at in our journeys. Weam encourages both the fun that comes with movement and peace that comes with stillness.
About the sites
Daimaniyat
The Daymaniyat Islands are a protected area and it is an archipelago of nine islands along the coast of Wilayat A Seeb and wilayat Barka. Surrounded by rocks and shallow seas which lie only 16-18 km from the coast reachable by boat. The Islands are characterized by their virgin nature and fascinating beauty, offering shelter to a variety of animals.
In this trip we will snorkel in crystal clear waters filled with beautiful corals and hopefully catch site of turtles, eel, sting ray and other colourful fish!
Wadi Tiwi and Mibam Wadi Tiwi (وادي طيوي) uniquely known for numerous farms and plantations dotting the wadi, and a stunning pool deep inside towards Mibam village (قرية ميبام). Wadi Tiwi, which is named after Tiwi village on the coast, is a truly beautiful wadi with the lush plantations giving it a different (certainly greener) feel than many other wadi
The trip starts with a breathtaking 4x4 drive up where you can enjoy the beautiful wadi scenery. This will be followed by a walk through the narrow streets of Mibam village followed by a short hike before reaching the most stunning feature Wadi Tiwi in our opinion: a gorgeous pool at the wadi bend flanked by palm trees and overgrowth onto the wadi cliffs.
Next, you'll put your brave on as we explore abseiling, a swim under waterfalls, and a larger swim in the pool before we head back with another short hike.
