I teach wellbeing, mostly through a mindful movement practice designed to cultivate awareness and self-inquiry.
There are many things that excite me, but one of my absolute favorites is watching people grow and thrive. As a yoga teacher, psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, my teaching is a blend of the many different modalities that transformed my life and empowered me to overcome my own barriers and embrace life with more openness, curiosity, wonder and trust.
My teaching fuses an evolved understanding of integrated, embodied movement with the essence of a mindfulness practice. I also incorporate my love for neuroscience to tap into the body and brain’s capacity to adapt, rewire and transform to overcome difficulties. I enjoy making the complex feel accessible through engaging, explorative and playful classes that enable us to better navigate how we experience our world.
What I teach falls under my philosophy of Soft Strength, a balance that enables you to move with insight and ease both on and off the mat. It’s a practice that celebrates your unique individuality, but also our deep interconnectedness.
Experiened Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT500), Reiki Level 4 healer, councellor, hypnotist, author of "Living in the Grey" and the founder of Namaste. Weam's teaching style is fluid, creative and fun. Her Yoga journey started in 2007 and nothing remained the same. Seeing how Yoga nurtured her life she left behind a demanding corporate job to dedicate her to guiding others and sharing their journey home. Namaste since has helped hundreds of students taste the sweetness of the Yoga practice.
Her enthusiasm, curiosity, energy, compassion and passion are contagious. She believes that everyone has an "edge" and whilst she is a firm believer that this edge is very different for individuals, she enjoys watching people grow from taking themselves to places that both challenge and respect where we are at in our journeys. Weam encourages both the fun that comes with movement and peace that comes with stillness.
